Sports Illustrated Model Camille Kostek has a thing or two to say about her boyfriend Rob Gronkowski's "retirement." The 33-year-old NFL player shocked fans when he announced his retirement from the league this year after playing his last season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Many aren't accepting his news and top of the list is his girlfriend, Kostek who doesn't believe this is the end. She let her feelings out after the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway show last weekend.
Is Gronks Really Retired?
Kostek gave the impression that the "retirement" wasn't as final as the athlete let on comparing his choice to that of Tom Brady's. If you didn't know, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback announced his retirement for the umpteenth time this year after the NFL in February only to retract his statement about three months later.
She said,
"I am an honest lady, and honestly, in my heart, I didn’t feel like this one is a forever one. So, I think maybe he’ll come back again. I feel like him and Tom are just having fun like, ‘Retired, not retired, retired, not retired."Gronks Doubles Down On His Decision
On the other hand, Gronks' doubled down on his retirement saying if Brady called him, he'd pick up but not play the field. According to ESPN, he said,
"I’m done with football. Love the game. Love the game. And definitely blessed with all the opportunities the game of football has given me but done with football and stepping my feet into the business world and the business ventures. For her 2022 Sports Illustrated feature, Kostek went to St. Croix where she showed off her sexy figure in a tan bikini on a boat. While the pictures came out beautiful (no doubt) the process wasn't rosy. Kostek said it made her feel nauseous but she captured the moment in time.
"I think I shot about 8 or 9 suits on the boat and I was definitely nauseous taking this 🥴I remember thinking I should grab a photo so I could remember this moment and I’m glad I did," she wrote. SI Swimsuit Runway Show
Watching scenes from the Swimsuit Runway in Miami would definitely give you FOMO.
