Britney Spears is bringing back the famous fresh flower crown, one that dominated news stories at the end of summer 2020. The 39-year-old pop princess, who tends to label the various phases of her shoots for her 29.9 million Instagram followers, today returned to “ROSE” in a series of photos fans are likely very familiar with – Britney stuffed her feed with so many such images last year, she actually had to defend photography project “Project Rose.” See the photos and drama below.

Today back in her L.A. backyard and shot very close up, the Grammy winner sent out raw energy and a direct gaze, all windswept and wearing a gorgeous vintage necklace. The hair roses were back as Spears shared a total four photos, with “ROSE” offering the only clue as she took to her caption.

Britney, whose latest phase has been “RED” as she dons a sheer black shirt and pantyhose, indicated her return to “ROSE,” even using rose emoji in her final snap, but it was a bit of a mess in the comments section as #FreeBritney threw shade.
Spears, who remains under the 2008-commenced conservatorship seeing dad Jamie Spears control her finances and many of her decisions, continues have the #FreeBritney movement questioning her Instagram and her well-being. “Are you okay?” came in from more than one fan.

An element of bullying also manifested as fans lashed out. They complained that the images have already been posted, with one fan writing: “Oh look…the same picture…again.” Those worrying over Britney’s well-being continued, despite the singer’s clap-backs, to raise the alarm.
In November 2020, Britney took to Instagram to shut down speculation that she is unhappy or unwell. “Hi, so I know that there have been a lot of comments, and a lot of people saying a lot of different things about me,” she began.
Confirms Being Happy
The mom of two added: “But I just want to let you guys know that I am fine. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been in my life.”
April 2021, meanwhile, brought a resumed confirmation from Britney, one seeing her state that she’s “ok”: “Yes, I’m totally fine, I’m extremely happy,” she said. “I have a beautiful home, beautiful children, I’m taking a break right now because I’m enjoying myself.”
Britney has also been making headlines for dying her hair pink as she gears up to face 68-year-old dad Jamie in court next month.
