APPLE has confirmed that its first entry into the smart speaker race, dubbed HomePod, has been discontinued. While the recently-launched HomePod mini will continue to be available and get new updates from the Californian company, the original HomePod will only be available to buy until the remaining stock worldwide fizzles out.
