Cary Deuber Wishes Dr. Tiffany Moon Took Her Advice, Addresses ‘RHOD’ Cancelation

Cary Deuber attempted to save The Real Housewives of Dallas prior to the season five reunion.

While appearing on RealiTea With Derek Z earlier this week, Deuber, who was featured in a full-time position on the Bravo reality series for its first three seasons, revealed she reached out to the show’s newest cast member, Dr. Tiffany Moon, before the special was taped in hopes of helping the cast get out of the racial drama they had been facing throughout the season.

‘RHOD’ Season Five Included Feuds Involving Dr. Tiffany Moon

"I wish all the girls well, you know, it’s funny. I don’t really know [Dr. Tiffany Moon]. I had reached out to her before the reunion to try and give her advice," Deuber recalled.

According to Deuber, she didn’t want to see the show drown in the heavy tensions the ladies were facing, due to not only a video Brandi Redmond made of herself poking fun of Asians (which she later apologized for), but also comments exchanged between Dr. Moon and Westcott in regard to the delicacies Moon had served at one of her events.

When Deuber then returned to the question host Derek Zagami had initially asked her, she said that she believes the Real Housewives of Dallas may have been canceled as a result of Dr. Moon passing on her advice.

"I think that she should have taken my advice and moved forward and moved on and everybody could have gotten further, I think. I think it’s just sad. Like, I’m sad the wheels had to come off and the show had to kind of fall flat," she stated.

The ‘RHOD’ Is Doing ‘Good’ After The Show’s Cancelation

The 'RHOD' ladies put hands in air on red carpet.

While Deuber hasn’t appeared on The Real Housewives of Dallas in a full-time role in years, she’s maintained her friendships with most of the ladies of the show.

"I talk to almost everybody. The girls I talk to, I’ve spoken to and they’re all good. I think some of them are in shock. It’s a lot to process when, especially when you’ve been doing it for a number of years," Deuber said of how her friends and former cast mates are holding up since learning of the cancelation of their Bravo series.

‘RHOD’ Had Become ‘Toxic’ During Season Five

'Real Housewives of Dallas' cast sits in folding chairs on stage.

On August 17, after Bravo confirmed they would not be moving forward with a sixth season of The Real Housewives of Dallas, a source told Entertainment Tonight that the cast is "surprised, but relieved."

"It got so toxic," the source continued, adding that they couldn’t put together a cast that "made sense."

"D’Andra [Simmons] and Tiffany [Moon] don’t talk to Stephanie [Hollman] or Kameron [Westcott]. It would’ve been hard to make any relationship between those four feel organic, especially with everything that happened between Tiffany and Kameron after the reunion," the insider explained.
