ELVIS PRESLEY’s long-term ex-girlfriend Linda Thompson, whose four-year relationship with The King was “erased” from Baz Luhrmann’s biopic, has celebrated the 50th anniversary of “falling in love at first sight” with the music icon she knew and loved so intimately in a social media post liked by Lisa Marie Presley. The 72-year-old slammed the “crass commercialisation or those who profitably capitalise on his name and likeness” and summed up her old flame as “a true original… a spectacularly flawed and fabulous human being.”
