Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney is proving it can still be a Hot Girl Summer in October. The 25-year-old vault queen and GEICO face is fresh from delighting her 1.4 million Instagram followers with a bikini snap, one placing her in an outdoor pool and stunning with girly pinks.
McKayla, whose headlines have been serious of late as she opens up to Congress about the Larry Nassar sex abuse scandal, steered clear of her personal troubles, here, and fans are loving the shot.
Welcoming October In Hot Pink Bikini

Showing off her Gold Medal body and signature porcelain skin, McKayla stunned while waist-deep in a pool, also surrounded by a swish terrace with loungers. All cute in her low-cut and hot pink two-piece, the gymnast sent out a near-smile, plus a deep gaze.

Also wearing a discreet gold chain necklace and with her eyelashes curled, McKayla leaned forward slightly as she highlighted her cleavage, with a short caption reading: "October 1st" as she added a pink heart emoji.

Opening Up On Eating Disorder Amid Abuse
Alongside gymnasts Simone Biles, Aly Raisman, and others, McKayla is a victim of jailed USA Gymnastics physician Larry Nassar’s sex abuse. Opening up to Elle, Maroney revealed:
“I forgot I had ever even been successful at gymnastics, because I went from being great to feeling like, ‘Oh my God, I’m ugly, I’m gaining weight, I’m suffering with food, and I just went through all this abuse,’" this as she revealed starving herself for three days in a row. McKayla has since recovered.
Keeping Her Gymnast Friends Close
The feature also afforded the Glohé wellness founder a chance to highlight her bond with other team USA gymnasts. 26-year-old Aly Raisman was briefly featured as she stated:
“When we get together, I feel like a teenager again in the best way. Tonight, there will be no talk of the bad times—it’s a totally gymnastics-free girl’s night in. Only food delivery, rom-coms, and ‘girl talk’."
