Bartlett Sher’s Lincoln Center production of Lerner and Loewe’s musical is comfortingly traditional with a couple of twists. Amara Okereke makes theatrical history as the first black Eliza Doolittle and, by George, she’s got it. If her opening scene lays on the Cockney hoyden with a trowel, the moment she begins to sing, it’s clear she’ll be receiving bouquets bigger than the ones she hawks in her flower basket.
